Programme Commitee
Although the Bag Factory board guides its organisational policy, the organisation is essentially a democratic institution steered by the artists themselves via a voluntary organising committee, which develops of our ongoing programmes, including exhibitions, and vetoes fresh suggestions. The committee attempts, at all times, to maintain a stance of impartiality, operating in the best interests of the organisation as a whole.
The programme committee members change annually, from November to November each year.
The 2011 Programme committee comprises Director Sara Hallatt, board member Makgati Molebatsi, artists Thenjiwe Nkosi and Lerato Shadi, and external specialist and educator David Andrews.
